Genuine Argentinean and american-style empanadas and subs. Since 2006 we have introduced empanadas to Boise and have a variety of 50 different kind from savory to desserts! We cook your empanadas when you order so they’re fresh, never reheated or kept in warmers. We’re a mom and pop business who has been blessed to have their dream come true here in Idaho and it’s all because of our wonderful customer family! So if it’s empanadas you want, we’re here. From the authentic meat, salteña, chicken, ham and cheese, humita, spinach, fugazza and even dulce de leche, there’s something for everyone. We also have among our subs, milanesa, choripan and lomito. We carry Yerba mate, gourds, bombilla and different Argentine products. Look forward to seeing you here in our little corner of the world and share a taste of Argentina with you.

The chimichurri is a must! I had the gaucho and it was delicious. The empanadas are fried and they leak a bit of oil because they are served immediately.

We love the fresh empanadas at Tangos! There’s lots of variety - so much so that I forget which are our favorites so it’s like a surprise every time! And we love all the flavors. The kids meal is perfect for little ones.

Light and flaky empanada crust! They make them as you order. The fillings were delicious too. We tried 4 different ones and can't wait to go back and try more. Yum!

Today at lunch I tried my first empanada and actually ended up going back for dinner! Had a great experience at the food truck in Meridian. Luis is super friendly and gave great recommendations. Check it out!

This place is beyond good! They've been around a long time, but I finally just tried it for the first time last night and wow! Amazing food, the empanadas are incredible. Nice, fluffy crust, delicious fillings, even my kids were gaga over this place. Gotta try the Gaucho and if you're feeling froggy try the Mohle. So so good! And the staff was super amazing, we were there about 10 minutes after closing and nobody was in a hurry to rush us out the door. Great people, great food, you just can't ask for anything more than that!

Great food for a great price. They have limited indoor dining though so if you are planning on coming with a bigger group be prepared to eat outside. Super delicious though.

I've been going here since they opened, but until last week had never gotten a sub, and upon receipt, was full of regret for having delayed so long. If you like a good Mexican torta, you'll love Tango's option. The bread was great, composition balanced and generous. Added a bit of the hot salsa to find result. Of course, the service is always warm, patient, and kind 💛Bonus fact!: the snowflake sign in the north window is from the 2009 Special Olympics Winter World Games opening/closing ceremonies. 🇦🇷

I used to come here a lot, shortly after they first opened, when I was in High School before moving away and absolutely loved it! Delicious and affordable. Pleased to say after trying it again for the first time in several years, after returning to Boise, and it is still just as delicious and affordable. Will be coming back.

Legit amazing! Husband and I shared 3 empanadas and made 1 a meal so we could try the fries. We got the saltena, chicken tinga and el puerco and they were all amazing. The fries are I think the best I have ever had, we almost got more even though we were so full! We cannot wait for the Meridian location to open up. We will be going to much more for sure! The customer service was wonderful as well and very reasonably priced.

Their empanadas are huge, delicious, and cheap! I've had empanadas elsewhere that were about half the size and twice the price (and not nearly as good). TONS of options for every palate (I recently switched to a vegetarian diet and was really happy to have so many choices) and great service. I will be back!

Awesome food and dessert empanadas. I can't highly recommend this place enough for it's tasty empanadas. There are lots of different kinds of empanadas to choose from. They also have vegetarian options too if you don't eat meat or seafood. If you are looking for something sweet, try the Cherries and Cream, it's amazing. Looking forward to them opening a larger location. Note, this restaurant is quite small and stays busy during dinner hours. Luckily the wait time is fairly minimal.

Tasty, cheap, and plenty of options! The dough they use for the empanadas looks greasy after being cooked, but when you bite into them the flavor and perfect combo of chewy and crispy makes you glad you tried them. It also tends to make you order one more...

First time being here and it was good. I had never had an empanada before and our friend suggested we go here. The food was good but it gets a bit crowded as the building isn’t too big. Only issue was that I ordered two different empanadas but I received two of the same one instead even though the person said that one of them was the different one. It didn’t really matter too much because it was good and they got busier so I didn’t want to bother the worker. The prices are decent and food is good so I’d probably go back to try some of the other variety of empanadas they have.
